
Dr. Oshetski was born and raised in upstate
New York and is the youngest of 4 children.
His three older sisters, two teachers and
one a nurse taught him compassion and
understanding for all ages. His father,
a dentist for 47 years, provided Dr.
Oshetski the foundation and early
experiences in dentistry, while his mother
provided the never surrendering drive to
become a doctor.
He received his Bachelors degree from the
University of Buffalo, graduating Cum Laude,
while playing and captaining the Rugby team.
He then moved on to receive his Doctorate of
Dental Surgery from the University of the
Pacific Dental School in San Francisco,
graduating at the top of his class and
receiving the California Dental
Association Award of Excellence.
Following Dental School, Dr. Oshetski
completed an additional two years at the
University of the Pacific dedicated solely
to Orthodontics, for which he was awarded a
Masters of Science in Dentistry and the
Arthur A. Dugoni Award for Clinical
Excellence. During these two extra
years, Dr. Oshetski studied a wide variety
of orthodontic techniques while gaining
great experience in early treatment, facial
esthetics, TMJ problems and cases requiring
jaw surgery.
Dr. Oshetski and his wife, Christina, have
two children Max and Maya. They enjoy
snow-skiing, water-skiing, wakeboarding,
golfing, horseback riding, swimming and
other recreational activities. The greatest
portion of their time is spent caring for
their horses, dogs, cats and the farm for
which they love dearly.
